
Hannah Dorney's Late Tally Lifts Women's Soccer To 1-0 Road Win Over LeMoyne
Match's Only Goal Came With Just 7:27 To Play
Freshman Hannah Dorney made her first career goal a big one, as her unassisted tally with just 7:27 to play in the match, lifted the Blue Devils to a 1-0 Northeast Conference road win over the host LeMoyne College Dolphins on Sunday afternoon. With the victory which snaps a two-match losing skid, the CCSU women are now 5-4-0 in NEC play and are 5-10-1 overall. LeMoyne slips to 2-14-2 over and 1-6-2 in conference action

- CCSU's Nicolle Santos had the match's first scoring opportunity at the 17:47 mark of play, but her shot was stopped by the LeMoyne goalkeeper, Mikayla McPherson.
- LeMoyne has held without a shot until the 34:02 mark when Taylor DeFlorio made a save against the effort of the Dolphins' Nicole Calle.

- Taylor DeFlorio has been a part of three clean sheets this season; two solo efforts and one shared shutout with Kayleigh Smith.

- Unfortunately for Blue Devils fans, CSSU was eliminated from participating in this season's Northeast Conference Women's Soccer Championship Tournament with Stonehill's 3-0 win over Mercyhurst on Sunday afternoon.
