
Women's Soccer Falls To St. Francis (Pa.) In A High-Scoring Affair
Blue Devils Topped By The Red Flash, 4-2
The visiting Red Flash of St. Francis (Pa.) University scored two goals in each half to pick up a high-scoring 4-2 Northeast Conference win over the host Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils on Thursday evening in New Britain. With the loss, the CCSU women are now an even 4-4-0 in NEC play and are 4-10-1 overall. The Red Flash move to 3-4-1 in conference play and are 5-8-3 overall.

- Alyssa Mella of St. Francis (Pa.) had the match's first shot that was stopped by CCSU's Taylor DeFlorio in the seventh minute.
- The Blue Devils came right back to fire two shots on goal one by Daniela De Souza and another by Riley Powers in the next 1:30 that were both saved by Emma Sawich of the Red Flash.
- Tomke Dziesiaty put the visitors up 1-0 in the 22nd minute when she intercepted a Central pass and walked in a fired a shot to the upper left corner of the net.
