Central will play its first two game on the road including at Jacksonville and next Saturday on the road at Iona. The home schedule is set to begin on Friday afternoon, Feb. 27 vs. Siena in New Britain.
The Blue Devils were picked to finish fourth in the preseason NEC Coaches Poll released earlier this week. The Blue Devils were fourth in the league last season with a 4-3 record. They finished the season 7-10 overall. In 2013 the Blue Devils finished second in the league with a 7-2 record. They set a school-record with nine wins in a 9-9 season. The 16 total wins in the last two seasons matched a school-record set between the 2012 and 2013 seasons. In the last three years the Blue Devils have won 23 games.
