Radden Wins Pair of Events, Blue Devil Men Finish Fourth at New England Championship
Aaron Radden won a pair of events, and the Central Connecticut men's indoor track team finished fourth at this weekend's New England Championships. Radden won the 60 meter and 300 meter dash events. Sam Alexander added a first place victory to help pace the Blue Devils to the fourth place finish.

UConn won the event with a team score of 119.5, and Rhode Island
was second at 61.5. Southern Connecticut finished third (58.5) and
the Blue Devils were fourth with 57.50, just one point out of third
place. Northeastern rounded out the top five.
A pair of Blue Devils had strong finishes in the high jump. Nick
Trifone placed third at 2.03 meters, while Denzell
Jones was tied for fifth with a jump of 2.03 meters.
Radden's time of 6.865 in the 60 meter dash was just ahead of
Connecticut's Kashif Moore, 6.866, to earn the victory. He ran a
time of 21.17 in the 200 meter dash to earn the victory ahead of
Evan White of UMass Lowell, 21.24.
Alexander won the 3,000 meter on Friday to help pace the Blue
Devils.
They placed first in the 4x800 meter relay event. The team of Mike

Hrezi ran a time of 7:33.05 to top the team from UMass,
7:39.73.
