Hrezi Sets School Record on Day Two of Giegengack Invitational
Sophomore Mohamed Hrezi led the Blue Devils with a record setting performance in the 800 meters on day two of the Giegengack Invitational. Hrezi contributed to a school record in the distance medley relay on Friday and then today set his own school record in the 800.
Sophomore Mohamed Hrezi led the Blue Devils with a record setting performance in the 800 meters on day two of the Giegengack Invitational. Hrezi contributed to a school record in the distance medley relay on Friday and then today set his own school record in the 800.
Hrezi posted a time of 1:51.69 in the 800 meters, his time earned him a fourth place finish in the event along with setting a CCSU record.
Sophomore Aaron Radden finished fourth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.93.
In the field events junior Rashad Williams finished second in the shot put with a best toss of 53' 7.5". Freshman Denzell Jones earned a third place finish in the triple jump to go along with his victory in the high jump on Friday. Jones jumped 46' 1.5" on Saturday.
The Blue Devils return to action at the NEC Championships on Feb. 12.
