Men's Track Wins Three Events on Day One at Yale
The Central Connecticut men's track team earned three event victories on day one of the Giegengack Invitational at Yale. Sophomore Aaron Radden earned a victory in the 200 meters and also ran a leg of the Blue Devils distance medley relay team which set a new school record.
The Central Connecticut men's track team earned three event victories on day one of the Giegengack Invitational at Yale. Sophomore Aaron Radden earned a victory in the 200 meters and also ran a leg of the Blue Devils distance medley relay team which set a new school record.
The team of Radden, junior Jeremy Schmid, junior Michael Waterbury, and sophomore Mohamed Hrezi earned the Blue Devils a victory in the distance medley relay. Their time of 9:56.67 set a new school record for the event, they topped the second place team by over a second.
Radden also earned an individual victory in the 200 meters. He posted a time of 22.14 seconds in route to the victory.
Freshman jumper Denzell Jones earned a victory for the Blue Devils with his performance in the high jump. Jones cleared 2.04 meters to take the win.
The Blue Devils will complete the Giedengack tomorrow at Yale. Check back tomorrow for the results.
