Blue Devils Excel at Yale Invitational
The Central Connecticut men's track team continued its indoor season on Saturday at the Yale Collegiate Invitational. Their was no team scoring at the meet, but several Blue Devils turned in good performances. Sophomore Aaron Radden continued to perform in the 60 meter dash, winning the event with a time of 6.83 seconds. The defending NEC Champion in the event has now won both of his 60 meter events this season.

The Blue Devils 800 meter relay team of Mike Waterbury, Robert Weston, Jeremy Schmid and Mohamed Hrezi was victorious with a time of 7:49.73.
In the distance medley relay, Jeremy Schmid, Shawn Buchanan, Mike Waterbury, and Mohamed Hrezi set a new school record with a time of 10:04.25. That performance earned the team third place in the event.
In the field events Matt Berube finished third in the long jump with a distance of 6.61 meters. Kieth Boyd-Carter triple jumped 13.46 meters to earn himself a third place finish and junior Rashad Williams threw the shot put 16.04 meters to earn a second palce finish.
The Blue Devils return to action next week at the Albany Great Dane Classic.
