Men's Golf Completes Day One at Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational
Sebastianelli leads Blue Devils and is tied for 24th place
The Central Connecticut men's golf team sits in 11th place out of 13 teams after the first two rounds of the Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational being hosted by UConn and played at The Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic, CT. The course measures 6,790 yards and is a par 72.
The Blue Devils shot a round one score of 313 and followed with a round of 308 to sit at +45 for the day with a score of 621. UConn leads the field with a score of 564 (-12), followed by Rhode Island (575), Army (578), Bryant (580) and Hartford (589) rounding out the top five.
Sophomore Anthony Sebastianelli leads the Blue Devils with rounds of 78-72 to sit at 150 in a tie for 24th place overall. He is +6 on the day.
Junior Nick Direda shot 76-80 and at 156 is tied for 53rd place. Senior Jack Ayers shot 81-77 and is tied for 59th place overall. Junior Bryant Bolden shot 82-79 and is tie for 67th place overall. Sophomore Brandon Raine shot 78-84 and is in 72nd place overall.
The third and final round of the tournament will be held on Sunday.
