Anthony Sebastianelli Named Second Team All-Conference
Led Blue Devils with eighth place finish in NEC Championships
Central Connecticut sophomore Anthony Sebastianelli was named Second Team All-Northeast Conference on Tuesday, it was announced by the league office. Sebastianelli capped his season with an eighth place finish in the NEC Championships in April.
He shot 70-72 in the first two rounds of the tournament and fired a 76 on the final day to finish with a three round score of 218, just five shots back of the tournament winner.
Sebastianelli was one of three underclassmen in the league to earn All-Conference second team honors this season. He completed four of his eight tournaments in the top-10.
He opened his season with a fourth-place finish at the Ryan Lee Memorial Invite where he carded a two-round score of 142 (74-68), then closed his year with an eighth place showing at the NEC Championship (70-72-76=218).
Sebastianelli averaged 74.7 strokes per round in 2015-16 and was the lone Blue Devil to participate in every tournament this season.
