2014-15: Averaged a score of 77.3 over 15 rounds for the Blue Devils in 2014-15...Shot a season-best 73 in the final round at the UConn Connecticut Cup on Oct. 14 and helped Central to a fifth-place finish...Earned a 14th place finish at the Northeast Conference Championship and helped Central finish 5th...Placed 16th at the season-opening Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate and helped CCSU to finish fourth...Earned a spot on the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2013-14: Averaged a score of 80.5 over six rounds for Central Connecticut in 2013-14...Best finish came at the Shootout at River Landing on Mar. 21 where he tied for sixth and helped the Blue Devils finish first in the event.

2012-13:  Averaged a score of 80.4 over seven rounds for Central Connecticut in 2012-13...Best finish came at the New England Championships where he placed 34th.

Before Central: Ayers earned All-State honors his sophomore and junior years...He was named First-Team All-Conference every year he competed at Old Saybrook High School...He was honored as New London Day Area Player of the Year and won the Shoreline Conference Tournament his junior and senior years...He qualified for the Connecticut State Open with a 75 and placed in the top-five at the tournament...Ayers tied for eighth place at the Connecticut Section Jr. PGA Championship and placed in the top-25 at the World Series of Junior Golf shooting a 75...He was a AJGA Apawamis K12 Medalist with his score of 72.
