Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational
CCSU prepares for NEC Championship this weekend
The Central Connecticut men's golf team shot a third round score of 307 and finished 10th out of 13 teams at the Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational on Sunday. The 36-hole tournament was hosted by UConn and played at The Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic, CT. The course measured 6,790 yards and is a par 72.
Sophomore Anthony Sebastianelli led the Blue Devils on Sunday, shooting a third round score of 76 to finish at 225 for the tournament, in a tie for 27th place overall.
Junior Nick Direda shot a 79 on the final day to finish with a 235 in a tie for 51st place. Sophomore Brandon Raine matched Sebastianelli with a 75 on Sunday, the best round of the day for the Blue Devils and the second-best for the week, and finished in a tie for 56th place overall with a three round score of 237.
Junior Bryant Bolden shot 78 on Sunday and finished at 239, in 64th place. Senior Jack Ayers shot 84 and finished at 242, in 68th place overall.
The Blue Devils will complete their spring season with the Northeast Conference Championships this week, beginning on Friday, April 29 and lasting through Sunday, May 1. The tournament is being held at the LPGA International Jones Course in Daytona Beach, FL.
