Men's Golf Finishes Play at The Tuxedo Autumn Invitational
Anthony Sebastianelli lead Blue Devils and shoots final round 73.
The Central Connecticut men's golf team finished 10th at The Tuxedo Autumn Invitational following the final round on Saturday. The tournament is being held at The Tuxedo in Tuxedo Park, NY, and is hosted by Columbia University.
Central shot a 310 team score in the final round to finish with a three-round total of 934. Drexel (295-284-290) and Columbia (286-292-291) tied atop the team standings with a score of 869. Bucknell (898), St. Thomas Aquinas (899) and Lafayette (901) rounded out the top five.
Sophomore Anthony Sebastianelli finished 14th overall and shot a 73 in the final round, his best round of the weekend, to lead the Blue Devils. His three-round total of 223 (74-76-73) was +10. Sophomore Brandon Raine finished the weekend with a total of 230 (76-74-80) and was 30th overall. Senior Jack Ayers finished with 236 (75-84-77), junior Nick Direda shot 247 (86-81-80) and sophomore Austin Forauer shot 250 (88-82-80).
Central returns to action on Saturday, October 3, at The Macdonald Cup at The Course at Yale in New Haven, CT.
