Women's Lacrosse Falters in Second Half at LIU on Saturday
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse was tied at the half with LIU before falling, 13-7, on Saturday in a Northeast Conference contest in Brookville, NY. The Blue Devils opened the game's scoring and were even at halftime before the Sharks managed to push ahead in the second half.
Graduate student Morgan Sinton scored a team-high four goals, while freshman Katelyn Parker added two scores.
Central travels to Mount St. Mary's on Friday, April 2.

- Sinton opened the scoring in the game at 27:48 of the first half. Parker's first goal of the game would give CCSU a 2-1 lead with 22:22 to go in the half.
- Sinton's second goal of the half would tie the game at 3-3 with 12:37 to go in the half. She would score with just 0:15 to go before halftime to tie the game at 4-4.
- LIU's Sara Stephens scored two goals to open the second half before senior Emma Sullivan got CCSU with 6-5. LIU would score two more goals to increase ites lead to 8-5 midway through the period.
- Parker scored with an assist from Sinton with 14:04 to play to make it 8-6. LIU would pull away with five unanswered goals beforeSinton scored with 0:38 to play to close out the scoring. .

- Sinton has scored in all but one game this season and has a team-high 15 goals.
- Senior Cooper Cowdin made 11 saves and had two ground balls.
- Senior Molly Coogan a team-high three ground balls, along with a caused turnover.
