Women's Lacrosse Falls at Home to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse lost in a Northeast Conference contest to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, 23-4, at Arute Field. The Blue Devils were within a goal nearly midway through the first half before Mount pulled away for the win.
Graduate student Morgan Sinton tallied a pair of goals, while freshmen Katelyn Parker and Eliz Fino each scored one.
Central travels to Merrimack on Wednesday, April 14.

KEY MOMENTS
- Sinton had a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes as CCSU was within 3-2 at the 20:27 mark. Following a CCSU timeout with 14:44 to go in the half, Mount St. Mary's would score 10 goals to close out the half and lead, 13-2, at the intermission.
- Mount scored three goals to open the second half, before Fino scored a free position goal with 21:11 remaining to break the run.
- Following four straight Mount goals, Parker scored with 7:01 to play, before the Mountaineers closed the game with three goals.

- Sinton has scored in all but one game this season and has a team-high 19 goals.
- Senior Cooper Cowdin made 12 saves and had three ground balls to lead the team.
- Senior Emma Sullivan had a team-high three draw controls.
