Women's Lacrosse Falters at Mount St. Mary's on Friday

The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse dropped a Northeast Conference contest at Mount St. Mary's on Friday, 20-2, at Waldron Family Stadium. The Blue Devils were held to one score in each half as the Mount held control of the game throughout.

KEY MOMENTS

  • Mount St. Mary's scored just two minutes into the game and would score the first nine goals to take control.
  • Senior Morgan Sinton got CCSU into the scoring column at the 13:13 mark, but Mount would score three goals to close the half and take a 12-1 lead into halftime.
  • Sinton scored to open the second half with 28:14 to play, but Mount would score the final eight goals of the contest. 

 NOTES

  • Sinton has scored in all but one game this season and has a team-high 17 goals.
  • Senior Cooper Cowdin made six saves and had two ground balls.
  • Sinton and senior Emma Sullivan each had two draw controls.
  • Freshman Margot Doraz collected two caused turnovers.
