Men's Golf in 13th Place Tie at Fireline

The Central Connecticut men's golf team dropped to a 13th place tie after the second round of the Towson Fireline Invitational after shooting a day two team score of 314 (+26). Central stands at +28 after the second round, with a team score of 60.
The Blue Devils shot a 290 in the first round of the tournament, and were in second place heading into Saturday. After Saturday's round Central is just six strokes out of the top-10.
Junior Dan Fanion fell to a 28th place tie on the individual leader board after a round two 80 (+8). Fanion is currently +5 for the tournament (69/80/149). Freshman Monte Mullen carded a 77 on Saturday and is tied for 36th place (73/77/150).
Senior Kevin Josephson shot a day-two 77 and junior Daniel Morgan shot 80. Josephson is tied for 46th and Morgan is tied for 81st. Junior Ashley Crawford is +17 and shot a day two 82.
The third and final round of the Towson Fireline Invitational will take place on Sunday April 1st.
