Men's Golf 5th at Blue Devil Invitational
The Central Connecticut men's golf team is in fifth place after one round of play at the Blue Devil Invitational at Wethersfield Country Club.
After day one of stroke play, the Central Connecticut men's golf team is in fifth place at the Blue Devil Invitational at Wethersfield Country Club in Wethersfield, CT. The Blue Devils are one of 12 teams competing in this home event. With a team score of 294, the Blue Devils have an 11 stroke lead over sixth place Manhattan College (305).
Senior Kevin Josephson is tied for 11th and leads the Blue Devils with an impressive 72 in the first round. Daniel Morgan shot a 73 and is tied for 15th. Dan Fanion shot a 74 and is tied for 17th.
Sonny Michaud of Laval University leads the individual competition after shooting a 68 on Saturday. Sacred Heart leads the team competition with a score of 286.
The second and final round of the Blue Devil Invitational will be played tomorrow, Sunday September 11th.
