Senior Kevin Josephson shoots a day-two 70 to lead CCSU
Senior Kevin Josephson shot a day-two score of 70, the lowest round of the tournament for any player on the weekend, helping to lead the Central Connecticut men's golf team to a fifth place tie at The Classic at Shelter Harbor on Sunday.
Josephson's two-day score of 150 was good for a 12th place tie overall.
After a day one score of 300, Central shot a 311 team score on the second day and finished in a tie for fifth place with Fordham.
Dartmouth won the tournament with a score of 594, followed by Connecticut (600), Columbia (603) Princeton (606) and then CCSU and Fordham (611).
Sophomore Daniel Morgan shot an 80 on the second day, finishing with a 154, good for a tie for 26th place overall.
Freshman Monte Mullen shot 77-79 (156), and finished in a tie for 31st place. Sophomore Dan Fanion shot an 82 on day to, and finished with a 158, good for a tie for 37th place.
