Jackson Named NEC Rookie of the Week for the Second Straight Week
Freshman Brittany Jackson earned her second straight Brine/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honor on Monday, it was announced by the league office. Jackson and the Blue Devils went 1-1 last week with a 4-0 shutout win over Wagner on Friday and a 1-0 loss at Long Island on Sunday. The shutout was the eighth of the season for the Blue Devils (7-5-4).

Jackson found the scoring column for the second time this season
in a 4-0 shutout win over Wagner on the road on Friday afternoon.
Jackson, who is tied for fourth on the team with a pair of goals
this season, scored the second goal in the game on Friday off a
feed from sophomore Clio Tregear. She is the top freshman scorer
for the Blue Devils this season with six points, including two
goals and two assists.
CCSU returns to action at home this weekend hosting Sacred Heart on
Friday and Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday on the CCSU Soccer
Field.
