Softball Falls to Saint Francis in Series Finale
The Central Connecticut softball team dropped their final regular season game to the Saint Francis Red Flash on Sunday afternoon.
Adrianna Green (2-3) suffered her third loss after giving up nine runs in the first inning for Central. game one after going the distance for the Blue Devils giving up five earned runs. Jasmine Lasane had The Blue Devils loan RBI with a base hit.
Allie Braly earned her first win of the season (1-0). She let up just one run on five hits in four innings pitched.
Liz Hamilton (6-3) went the distance for Central and gave up just two runs off six hits. KC Machado had two hits for central including a double. earned her sixth win of the season.
Rachel Marsden earned her 12th win for Saint Francis in the circle. Olivia Ulam led Saint Francis with two hits and an RBI in game two.

TOP 1ST: The Saint Francis proved to be an offensive juggernaut scoring 11 runs on five hits with the backbreaker being the bases-clearing three-run double from Olivia Ulum.
TOP 2ND: The Red Flash scored three in the inning via a three-run home run served up by Ashley Orishchack.
TOP 3RD: Saint Francis added two more runs off three hits with one runner left on base and took a commanding 16-0 lead over The Blue Devils.
BOTTOM 3RD: Regan Vunak led the inning off with a walk. She advanced on two wild pitches and was driven in by Ava Cino and Saint Francis led 16-1.
