Edward Williams Jr. placed first in the 60m hurdles prelim race with a season-best time of 7.91. He placed first in the semifinal with a time of 7.95.

In the 800m prelim, Aidan Budge placed 20th (1:53.82), Ryan McCauley notched a PR and placed 24th (1:54.46), and Chris Abbey took 36th with a time of 1:56.19.

Jake Ireland just missed qualifying for the mile final with a time of 4:09.42 placing 11th in the prelim.

Steven Baah-Mensah placed 20th in the mile with a PR (4:13.94).

Edward Williams Jr will compete on day two in the 60m Hurdle final on Sunday at 11:10 AM. Samuel Whittaker will compete in the 3000m final at 1:15 PM on Sunday. CCSU will compete in the distance medley at 1:50 PM, and the 4x400 relay at 2:45 PM.
