Track and Field Kicks Off the Outdoor Season
CCSU track and field opened their outdoor season today on day one of the Raleigh Relay’s meet hosted by North Carolina State University.
CCSU track and field opened their outdoor season today on day one of the Raleigh Relay's meet hosted by North Carolina State University. The meet is at the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility in Raleigh, NC.
- Graduate transfer Samuel Whittaker started his outdoor season with a 69th-place finish after running the 5000m final in 14:06.89.
- Senior Jacob Ireland finished 69th in the 1500m final running a personal best (3:49.05).
- Marina Perry notched a personal best in the shot put with a 12.33m throw to place 36th for CCSU.
The Blue Devils will compete on day two of the Raleigh Relays tomorrow, March 29th with events starting at 9:30 AM.
