
Men's Track & Field Breaks Two School Record at Day Two of the The RU Scarlet Knight Open
The Central Connecticut men's track and field team broke two school records on day two of the RU Scarlet Knight Open.
The Central Connecticut men's track and field team broke two records on day two of the RU Scarlet Knight Open.
- Gabriel Kwarteng broke a school record in the 600m. He ran a 1:20.24 for a 3rd-place finish.
- Samuel Whittaker took 4th place and broke the 3000m school record (8:13.05).
- The 4x400 relay team consisting of KyMoy Phillip, Noah Colangelo, Maxwell Czarnecki, and Gabriel Kwarteng finished in first place.
- First-year, Quincy Davis took 5th place and notched a PR in the Shot Put with a 13.09m throw.
- DeAndre Ducael also hit a PR in the Shot Put and finished in 7th place (12.51m) for the Blue Devils.
- Logan Moore finished in 10th place in the Pole Vault (4.28).
- In the high jump, Nicolai Yanko placed 8th with a 1.85m mark.
The Blue Devils will compete on Saturday, February 10th at the BU Valentine Invite @ Boston University.
