Women's Golf Completes Day One at Yale
Farnum and Williams shoot 81 to lead Blue Devils
The Central Connecticut women's golf team sits in 16th place after the first round of the Yale Women's Intercollegiate held at The Course at Yale on Friday afternoon. The Blue Devils will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday in rounds two and three of the tournament.
The Blue Devils posted a first round score of 331. Junior Albrianna Farnum and freshman Ella Williams each led the way for the Blue Devils with a first round score of 81 (+10).
Yale leads the tournament with a team score of 292. Boston University is second at 297, followed by Xavier and Charleston Southern (303) and Penn (304) round out the top five.
Central sophomore Sarah Boden shot a first round scored of 83 (+12), followed by freshman Kaitlyn Stoddart (86, +15) and senior Nicole Pizzoferrato (90, +19).
Saturday's second round begins at 8 a.m. at The Course at Yale.
