Men's Basketball Announces Addition of Trenton McLaughlin
Central Connecticut head men's basketball coach Patrick Sellers has announced the signing of Trenton McLaughlin to the program for the 2021-22 season. McLaughlin becomes the sixth newcomer to join the Blue Devils roster since Sellers' hiring.
McLaughlin is a 6-foot-6 forward from Chandler, AZ who attended state powerhouse Basha High School. During a COVID-shortened senior season, McLaughlin averaged 19.8 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game.
"We are excited to welcome Trenton to the CCSU basketball family! He has a quality basketball IQ that will translate to the defensive and offensive end of the floor," said Sellers. "He's also an elite three-point shooter that will bring floor spacing and scoring to the program."
