Men's Basketball Announces Addition of Jayden Brown
Central Connecticut head men's basketball coach Patrick Sellers has announced the addition of Jayden Brown to the program for the 2021-22 season. Brown becomes the fifth newcomer to join the Blue Devils roster since Sellers' hiring.
Brown is a 6-foot-8 forward from Warwick, RI who attended perennial prep school power the Tilton School in Tilton, NH. During his prep season at Tilton, Brown put up 22.0 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game and 2.5 blocks per game during a COVID-shortened campaign. His older brother, Terrell, also attended Tilton and played at Pitt.
"We are excited to welcome Jayden to the CCSU basketball family! He has a good basketball IQ and he will give us a skilled inside-outside presence," said Sellers. "He makes his teammates around him better with his unselfishness and he will give us a reliable rebounder."
