CCSU will look to end a three-game skid, while playing at home for the first time since mid-December. Sophomore Greg Outlaw was the only Blue Devil in double-figures at Sacred Heart last week. He continues to lead the team in scoring at 12.9 points per game. The Central defense held Sacred Heart to 25 points and 28.1% shooting in the first half, which were season low marks for a CCSU opponent in the opening period.
Mount St. Mary's swept Merrimack in a pair of home contests last week. The Mountaineers were coming off two losses at St. Francis Brooklyn, following a nearly month-long pause due to a pair of COVID-19 interruptions. Damian Chong Qui was named NEC co-Player of the Week on Monday and is averaging 13.8 points per game this season. The Mount leads the NEC in scoring defense (63.3 ppg) and rebounding margin (+3.7).
