
Men's Basketball Set to Play Hartford on Friday
The Blue Devils and Hawks will tip off at 6:00 p.m.
Central Connecticut is back in action on Friday when it heads to Hartford for a 6:00 p.m. contest at Chase Arena. The game will stream on ESPN3. The Blue Devils will be looking for their first win of the season before heading into next week's conference opener.

Last time out, Central was held to one field goal in an eight-minute span of the first half and had a one-point lead turn into a 13-point deficit during a 79-57 loss to Army last Friday. The Blue Devils shot just 34.9 percent from the field and were just 3-of-24 (.125) from three-point range.
Sophomore Greg Outlaw saw his first action of the season and led CCSU with 12 points. Junior Nigel Scantlebury added 10 points. Senior Stephane Ayangma grabbed a team-high six rebounds. On the year, Outlaw, junior Karrington Wallace (10.0 ppg) and sophomore Jamir Reed (10.0 ppg) are averaging double-figures. Ayangma, Outlaw and Reed are all tied for the team-lead in rebounds per game.
Hartford got its first win of the year, 66-61, at Fairfield on Wednesday night. Moses Flowers led the Hawks with a game-high 20 points. Hartford used a 9-3 run to break a 53-53 tie and built a six-point lead with 2:03 to play. Flowers leads the team with 15.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Hunter Marks adds 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds, while shooting 36.4 percent from three-point range.
