Central Connecticut men's basketball is back in Detrick Gymnasium to host Pine Manor College after playing three games on the road as part of the Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic. The Blue Devils will tip off against the Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The game will be streamed live on www.NECFrontRow.com with Bruce Biel (play-by-play) and Marc Robbins (analyst) calling the action.
Tickets for CCSU home games can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry to Kaiser Hall and Detrick Gymnasium. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.

The Blue Devils split a pair of contests in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and then traveled to Loyola Marymount, falling late in a 76-74 setback in their most recent game. CCSU stands at 3-3 overall on the season.
The Gators fell at Emerson, 91-84, in their most recent game on Tuesday and are 1-4 on the season. Sayvonn Houston leads the team averaging 17.0 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY • CCSU and Pine Manor College are meeting for the first time
KOHL EARNS WEEKLY HONOR, AGAIN • Tyler Kohl has been named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week in each of the season's first two weeks. Kohl averaged 20.0 ppg, 8.2 ppg, 6.0 apg and 1.0 spg while earning a spot on the Jamaica Classic All-Tournament Team last weekend. Kohl posted his second double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 boards in Central's win over Florida A&M. He hit 10-of-11 foul shots and gave out seven assists. The 6-5 senior has been among the best players in the league thus far, ranking 1st in scoring (21.8 ppg), 2nd in assists (5.5 apg) and 5th in rebounding (8.0 rpg)..
KRISHNAN COLLECTS WEEKLY AWARD • Ian Krishnan was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday after averaging 18.3 ppg and hitting 60 percent of his shots - 47.1 percent from the arc. Krishnan finished with 22 points and 4 steals in a win over UMass Lowell and then hit 4 three-pointers en route to 20 points vs. Austin Peay - his 3rd straight 20-point game.He currently leads all NEC freshman and ranks 10th on the circuit with 15.8 ppg. He's 6th in three-point accuracy (.455) and 10th in field goal percentage (.516).
BUTE IS CLOSE TO AUTOMATIC • Deion Bute has opened the season shooting .759 (22-29) from the field, which leads the NEC, and he is averaging 9.3 ppg. Bute opened the year by posting his second career double-double with 15 points (6-8 fg) and 11 rebounds at Hartford. In 20 career non-conference games, Bute is shooting .667 from the field (76-114).
