Central Connecticut hosts Saint Francis U on Saturday afternoon in a Northeast Conference men's basketball tilt. The men's game tips off at 3:30 p.m., with the women's teams tipping off at 1:00 p.m. CCSU Basketball Legends will be recognized throughout the day, with a special recognition at halftime of the men's game. The game will be streamed live and will be archived on

The day will recognize members of the Blue Devils' basketball teams who have been inducted into the CCSU Alumni Athletics Hall of Fame. All of those legends able to attend the day will be recognized.
The Blue Devils will be looking to win their third straight Northeast Conference game for the first time since since winning four straight Jan. 13-25, 2018. Central erased a 12-point second half deficit at Mount St. Mary's last weekend. Senior

Ian Krishnan scored all 13 of his points after halftime. Krishnan was named NEC Rookie of the Week on Monday, while senior
Tyler Kohl was named Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Saint Francis U was tabbed as the league's preseason favorite and comes into the game 6-9 overall and 2-2 in NEC play. The Red Flash split a pair of games in Brooklyn last weekend, falling at St. Francis Brooklyn 72-68 on Saturday. Keith Braxton recorded a pair of double-doubles to raise his league-leading total to seven on the year. He continues to lead the NEC in rebounding at 10.5 per game, a figure that ranks him 12th nationally.

TRIO RECOGNIZED BY NEC ON MONDAY • Tyler Kohl claimed his league-leading fourth NEC Player of the Week nod following a two-game stretch that saw him record a triple-double in a road sweep for CCSU. Kohl posted 22.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 9.5 apg. He posted the NEC's first triple-double of the year and 10th in the last 20 years with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in a two overtime win at FDU. He put up 17 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists at the Mount.
Ian Krishnan got his second NEC Rookie of the Week honor after he averaged 20.0 ppg on 50.0 percent shooting, including 47.6 percent from three-point range, to go along with 4.5 rpg. He sank a career-best 7 three-pointers and scored 27 in Thursday's 103-96 victory at FDU, then reeled off eight straight points during a key stretch as CCSU came from 12 down in the second half to beat the Mount. Krishnan ranks first among NEC freshman with 13.3 ppg.
Deion Bute earned NEC Prime Performer honors after he notched a pair of double-doubles and finished a 2-0 weekend with 15.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg and 2.0 apg. He shot 66.7 percent from the field and dropped a season-high 17 points on 6-7 shooting and matched a season-best with 11 boards in CCSU's triumph at the Mount on Saturday.
