Central Connecticut hosts Robert Morris in a doubleheader on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday afternoon in a Northeast Conference action. The men's game tips off at 3:30 p.m., with the women's teams tipping off at 1:00 p.m. The day is CCSU Community Day and all students and teachers will be admitted FREE to the games. There will be giveaways, pizza, entertainment and more throughout the day as well. The game will be streamed live and will be archived on

The Blue Devils will be looking to bounce back following Saturday's loss to Saint Francis U. The Colonials are 4-1 in NEC play after winning at Bryant on Saturday. CCSU leads the league with a +4.2 turnover margin in NEC play, while RMU is third at +1.6.

SERIES HISTORY • Robert Morris leads the all-time series, 23-17. CCSU snapped a three-game losing streak in the series with a 65-58 at RMU last season. The Colonials are 13-6 all-time at Detrick Gymnasium.
WITH A CCSU WIN TODAY... • Central Connecticut would improve to 9-10 on the season, 3-3 in the NEC, 4-2 at home...CCSU have consecutive wins vs. RMU for the first time since Feb. 5, 2011 and Jan. 7, 2012...CCSU would avoid losing two straight NEC games for the second time this season. SUITS AND SNEAKERS WEEK • From Jan. 21-27, Coaches across the nation will wear sneakers with their suits this week to raise awareness for Coaches vs. Cancer and the fight against cancer. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) teamed with the American Cancer Society over 25 years ago to form Coaches vs. Cancer. Since its inception, Coaches vs. Cancer has raised over $115 million. From 1991-2016, the cancer death rate fell 27%. That means more than 2.6 million deaths were avoided from 1991-2016.
