Men's Basketball Announces Team IMPACT Addition of Alex Inyatkin
The Blue Devils welcomed Alex with an on-campus signing Wednesday.
Central Connecticut men's basketball coach Donyell Marshall and the program announced the newest member of the team when 12-year-old Alex Inyatkin joined the Blue Devils Wednesday. Inyatkin was joined by his mother Kerri and other members of the Blue Devils coaching staff and team when he signed his letter of intent on the Central Connecticut campus in Kaiser Hall.
"It's a pleasure to bring Alex into our team," Marshall said. "I think he will be a very good addition to our program. He will bring a lot to our program and help us realize how special we have it. We can also help Alex enjoy and play a sport that he loves."
"Thank you for having me be a part of your team," Inyatkin said.
Alex, who is from Windsor, signed his Blue Devils Letter of Intent to join the CCSU team for the upcoming season. He has already been connecting with his new teammates in preparation for the upcoming season. He has had the chance to shoot around with his teammates and get to know the Blue Devils, sharing his "never give up" attitude and unbreakable spirit in overcoming challenges.
Marshall and the Blue Devils united with Alex through the efforts of Team IMPACT.
