Men's Basketball Heads to Loyola Marymount Wednesday Night
The teams were both in Montego Bay at the Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic last weekend.
Central Connecticut plays its third straight road game with a trip to Loyola Marymount on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. The Blue Devils and Lions were both in the field at the Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic in Montego Bay, Jamaica. CCSU is 3-2 on the year after splitting games in Jamaica.
The Blue Devils had five players in double-figures and eased by Florida A&M, 89-75, on Sunday. Senior Tyler Kohl led the way with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Central fell to Austin Peay, 80-78, on Friday in the opening game of the tournament. Kohl earned All-Tournament Team honors for the Rose Hall Division. Kohl was also named Northeast Conference Player of the Week on Monday, while freshman Ian Krishnan earned Rookie of the Week.
The Lions are 5-0 on the year after defeating Ohio (65-56) and Georgetown (65-52). James Batemon was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week and has led LMU to it's best start since 2003-04.

SERIES HISTORY • Loyola Marymount leads, 1-0. The teams are meeting for the 2nd time, having previously met in the Mohegan Sun Classic on CCSU's home court in New Britain, CT, in 2003. The Lions took that meeting, 58-57.
