Women's Lacrosse Hosts Howard on Saturday, March 29
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team will host the Bison of Howard on Saturday, March 29.
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team hosts the Bison of Howard University at Arute Field in New Britain, CT. Today's contest is the fifth all-time meeting between the Bison and Blue Devils on the lacrosse field with the Blue Devils holding a 3-1 record in the series. CCSU also has a perfect 2-0 record against Howard at Arute Field.

• This is the third of three-straight home games for the Blue Devils and the final non-conference game of the season for CCSU.
• Following today's game the Blue Devils will open Northeast Conference play on Friday, April 4 at Mount St. Mary's. CCSU will also visit Wagner on Sunday, April 6 before returning home for four straight contests. The Blue Devils will host Saint Francis U, Robert Morris, Bryant and Sacred Heart at home over a three week period. The regular season will wrap-up with a trip to LIU Brooklyn on April 27 and the NEC Tournament will begin on May 2 at the site of the regular season champion.
• Senior Amanda Toke currently leads the Blue Devils in points (24), goals (18), assists (6) and draw controls (30). Sophomore Madison Hughes has a team-high 22 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. While sophomore Falynn McCartney is second on the squad in points (16), goals (13) and draw controls (29).
• Freshman Marissa Soto was selected as the NEC Rookie of the Week on Monday, March 17. Soto registered her first career goal and assist over a pair of games at Stony Brook and Brown. She also had four ground balls and three draw controls on the week.
