Basketball Signs Kashaun Hicks to NLI
Hicks to join Blue Devils for 2016-17.
Central Connecticut head men's basketball coach Donyell Marshall has announced Kashaun Hicks has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend and play basketball at CCSU beginning in the Fall of 2016 it was announced Thursday. A 6-foot-6 forward, Hicks will join the Blue Devils for the 2016-17 season.
Hicks, who is from Jersey City, NJ, is a skilled player on the wing who most recently played at The MacDuffie School in Granby, MA. MacDuffie plays in the highly-competitive New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), where Hicks earned Class AA Honorable Mention Honors as a junior
Prior to attending The MacDuffie School, Hicks attended Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn. At the Berkeley Carroll, Hicks earned a reputation as one of the top shooters in New York City and averaged 17.0 points per game as a sophomore. Hicks has played with the PSA Cardinals and the NYC Jayhawks.
