Men's Basketball Faces Wagner on ESPN3 Saturday
Blue Devils host first-place Seahawks at Detrick Gymnasium.
The Central Connecticut men's basketball team will host Wagner at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in a contest to be broadcast on ESPN3. CCSU is coming off a rousing win over Mount St. Mary's, while the Seahawks come into the game in sole possession of first-place in the Northeast Conference.
Tickets can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.
John Cabral will handle the play-by-play duties, while Dave Calloway will be the analyst for the ESPN3 broadcast available here.

Last Time Out • Brandon Peel posted his eighth straight double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead CCSU to a 76-72 win over Mount St. Mary's. Kevin Seymour matched a career-high with 14 points and six rebounds as the Blue Devils went 30-of-34 at the foul line to grind out a win over the Mountaineers. Central led by as much as 57-47 with 11:52 to play, but Mount managed to chip away and get within 70-69 with 1:26 to play. The Blue Devils came up with the necessary stops and went 5-of-8 at the line to close out the win.
Coach Dickenman Announces Retirement • Following Thursday's win, head coach Howie Dickenman announced he will retire after the 2015-16 season. In 20 seasons at his alma mater he has won 182 games and led CCSU to three Northeast Conference titles and NCAA Tournament appearnaces. He is a four-time Coach of the Year and has coached five NEC Players of the Year.
Next Up • Central Connecticut travels to LIU Brooklyn on Thursday, Feb. 25, for its final road tilt of the season. CCSU closes out the season at home against Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, Feb. 27.
