Women's Track & Field Places Third at UVM Quad Meet
The Blue Devils earned 46 points as a team on Saturday.
The Central Connecticut women's track and field team placed third, scoring 46 points at the UVM quad Meet in Vermont on Saturday. Hartford placed first with 67 points, followed by Vermont in second and Castleton University in fouth

Freshman Maggie LoSchiavo earned five points for CCSU in the 3000 meter steeplechase run with a time of 13:03.31.

Angie Rafter finished in first place in the 1500 meter run, posting a time of 4:36.91. Right behind her was teammate Ashley Dana, who earned silver with a time of 4:37.49.

Senior Hailey Rospierski continued her dominance in the hurdles, placing first in the 100 meter with a time of 14.20. She also placed second in the long jump event and third in the high jump.

Kaitlyn Stevens was able to bring home two points in the 5000 meter run with a third place time of 18:32.5.

Aaliyah Walker earned five points in the triple jump, scoring 10.92m in the finals.

Danyelle Engels had a solid day in the field, earning the gold in the shot put with a toss of 11.24m. She also placed second in the discus event with a throw of 34.16m.
