Blue Devils Place 3rd at the Bryant Tri-Meet
Central scored 19 points and finished in third as a team in the meet.
The Central Connecticut women's track and field team competed against Rhode Island and Bryant in Smithfield, RI on Saturday. The team totaled 19 points, finishing third. Rhode Island won the meet, finishing with a score of 135 points and Bryant finished second with 41 points.

Brooke Morabito took the gold in the 5000 meter finals. The freshman finished with a time of 17:41.38, winning the event by six seconds.

Ashley Dana won the women's mile race with a time of 5:05.69, a new personal best.

Senior Hailey Rospierski placed second in the 100 meter hurdles, with a time of 14.29. The winning time was just .05 seconds ahead of Rospierski.

The team of Magnalen Camara, Kamilah Diaz, Kaylia Bailey, and Beverly Okoronkwo placed second in the 4 x 400 relay finals with a time of 4:12.45.

Danyelle Engels finished fourth in the women's discus finals.
