Women's Track and Field Places 11th at the IC4A/ECAC Championships
Two Blue Devils set personal records in Springfield, MA on Sunday.
The Central Connecticut women's outdoor track and field team finished the IC4A/ECAC Championships in 11th place out of 31 teams on Sunday. Angie Rafter placed second in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase and two Blue Devils set personal records.
RESULTS AT IC4A/ECAC | SATURDAY RECAP
On Saturday, sophomore Ashley Dana set a new personal record in the 1500 meter run, coming in at 4:32.15. The time was good for 6th place out of 22 runners in the event.
Senior Hailey Rospierski finished at 13.91 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, good for 4th place. The time was less than .3 seconds off the first place finisher.
Freshman Magnalen Camara set a new personal best and finished in the top 10 of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.68.
Aliyah Walker participated in the triple jump, coming in at 10.71 meters.
