Three-Time Defending NEC Champion Swimming and Diving Announces 2017-18 Schedule
Blue Devils open the season on Oct. 6 with the Annual Alumni Meet
The Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team announced its 2017-18 schedule on Monday. The Blue Devils are coming off of their third straight Northeast Conference Championship in 2017 and will once again open the season by hosting their annual Alumni Meet on October 6.
2017-18 Swimming and Diving Schedule
The Blue Devils will open the regular season at home with a meet against St. Bonaventure and Sacred Heart on Oct. 13-14. They will also host a home meet with New Hampshire on Oct. 27-28.
Central will face Florida International, the Conference USA champions, on their annual training trip to Florida in January. They will swim vs. FIU on Jan. 11. FIU finished 32nd in the NCAA Division I Championships last season.
The Northeast Conference Championships will take place at Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, NY on Feb. 21-24, 2018.
The Blue Devils have won three straight titles and return a strong core of their 2017 championship team this season.
