Swimming Earns CSCAA Award
The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team earned the 2012 Scholar All-America Team Award from the CSCAA.
The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team earned the 2012 Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for their academic performance during the spring semester.
Collegiate swimming teams earn the award by finishing the semester with a cumulative grade point average above 3.00. The Blue Devils finished the Spring 2012 semester with a 3.09 gpa. This is the third consecutive semester that the Blue Devils have received the honor.
Head coach Bill Ball's squad was one of 130 Division I teams to earn the distinction this year. The Blue Devils were joined on the list by NEC members Bryant, Saint Francis (PA) and Wagner.

The Blue Devils will open the 2012-13 season with the annual Alumni Meet on October 13th, and the Central Connecticut Diving Invite on October 20th.
