Vestergaard NEC Diver of the Week

Madison Vestergaard, the NEC’s 2010 Outstanding Diver, continues to have success in her senior campaign as she picks up her first NEC Diver of the Week nod of the 2011-12 season.

Senior Madison Vestergaard was named the Northeast Conference diver of the week for her impressive performance at the CCSU Diving Invitational this weekend in New Britain.

Vestergaard, the NEC's 2010 Outstanding Diver, continues to have success in her senior campaign as she picks up her first NEC Diver of the Week nod of the 2011-12 season. The Connecticut native placed 5th in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 179.00. She then scored a 187.35 in the 3-meter boards, good enough for a fourth place finish.

Vestergaard and the Blue Devil swimming & diving team will resume competition this Sunday, October 30th, at Duquesne.
