The Blue Devils are coming off a Northeast Championship season in 2014 where they finished with an 11-6-4 overall record and 4-2-2 mark in the NEC. Their league record earned them the third seed in the tournament. Central went on to defeat second seed Wagner (2-1, 2OT) in the semifinal game and host and top seed Fairleigh Dickinson (2-0) in the championship game.
The NEC Championship was the eighth in program history and sixth under D'Arcy. The Blue Devils went on to face Harvard in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils have qualified for the NEC Tournament in 11 of the last 13 seasons.
This year's recruiting class will join a Blue Devil team that will lose seven seniors from its championship team, including NEC Player of the Year, Tori Sousa. The class consists of two players each from Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts.
