Women's Indoor Track & Field Coaching Staff Wins NEC Coaching Staff of the Year; NEC Announces All-Conference Teams

The CCSU Women's Indoor Track and Field Coaching Staff was named the Northeast Conference Indoor Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year, it was announced by the NEC Wednesday. Eric Blake, Nicole Dumpson, Amanda Powlen, Tyler Raymond, and Ryan Budd led the team to their second straight conference championship this season, while also earning their second straight Coaching Staff of the Year award. 

The conference also announced All-Conference teams and All-Rookie teams for the 2023 Indoor Track season. The Blue Devils had 13 athletes, five men and eight women, earn all-conference honors.  

2023 NEC Indoor Men's All-Conference First Team: 

• 60 Hurdles - Edward Williams, Jr. Central Connecticut 7.85 

2023 NEC Indoor Men's All-Conference Second Team: 

• Mile - James Sullivan Central Connecticut So. 4:20.49 

2023 NEC Outdoor Men's All-Rookie Team:

• 3000m - Lane Maher Central Connecticut Fr. 8:50.08 

• 60 Hurdles - Kenny Agwu Central Connecticut Fr. 8.64
