Men's Track & Field Snags Two Top Three Finishes at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships
The CCSU men's track and field team concluded their indoor season today at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA.
The CCSU men's track and field team concluded their indoor season today at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA. The Blue Devils finished the weekend with two top-three finishes, one from Jovan Dixon in the 60m dash and the other from Jake Ireland in the 1000m run. The men placed 22nd overall, collecting 12 points.

Dixon placed third in the 60m dash with a time of 6.86, faster than both his prelim (6.92) and semifinal (6.88) times yesterday.

Ireland snagged third in the 1000m race with a time of 2:24.61, almost two seconds faster than his performance in prelims (2:26.29).

Edward Williams Jr. took ninth in the 60m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.28.

Israel Henriques-Setho placed 15th in the triple jump, leaping for 13.88m.
