Grudzwick, Connor, Gioielli, Trainor Set School Record, Win DMR At David Hemery Invite
The rest of the men's indoor track and field team will compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational Saturday, Feb. 11.
A new Central Connecticut men's indoor distance medley relay record was set by freshman Richard Grudzwick, junior Austin Trainor, and seniors, Malcolm Connor and Joseph Gioielli on Friday, Feb. 10 at the Boston U. David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
The quartet of Blue Devil runners finished first out of 13 competing teams, setting the new DMR CCSU school record in 9:46.12. The previous record of 9:56.67 was held by Jeremy Schmid, Legairre Radden, Michael Waterbury, and Mohamed Hrezi back in 2011.
