Durham Competes in 3-Meter and 1-Meter Diving in NCAA Zone A Championships
Junior was the NEC Diver of the Year after winning both titles in the conference championships
Junior Annemarie Durham finished in 25th place with a score of 249.40 in the NCAA Zone A 3-Meter Diving Championships on Monday at Virginia Tech. Durham, the 1-meter and 3-meter Northeast Conference Champion this season, placed 25th out of 55 total competitors on Monday. She also competed in the 1-meter championship on Tuesday.

On Monday Durham posted an average score of 41.57 per dive (six total dives). She was just over 13 points from finishing in the top-20. The top 16 scores after the finals are completed will advance to the NCAA Championships.
"We are incredibly proud of the way Annemarie dove this week," head swimming and diving coach Bill Ball said from Blacksburg, VA on Monday. "It was just an awesome performance and she was a tremendous representative for CCSU and the Northeast Conference."
Earlier this year she set new CCSU and pool records in both events, and was named the NEC Diver of the Year at the NEC Championships a couple of weeks ago.
