Volleyball Announces 2023 Schedule
The Central Connecticut State University volleyball program announced its 2023 slate on Thursday. The campaign begins on August 25 at the Army West Point Tournament.

2023 Volleyball Schedule Highlights
- Head coach Linda Sagnelli, the winningest coach in program history, will begin her 23rd season in charge of the Blue Devils.
- The Blue Devils will host nine home contests, including seven Northeast Conference matchups.
- Central will host a pair of non-conference contests, including the home opener on Tuesday, August 29, against NJIT.
- CCSU will welcome Bryant for a match on Tuesday, October 3.
- Central will play in three tournaments, including the season-opener at Army West Point on August 25-26.
- The Blue Devils will play at the American University tournament (September 1-2), and the Providence College tournament (September 8-9).
- CCSU will play its first five conference games on the road, beginning with a September 22 match at LIU.
- The Blue Devils' NEC home slate will begin on Friday, October 13, against new NEC member Le Moyne.
- Central will play seven of its last nine league games at home, including five straight from October 13-27.
- CCSU will honor its senior class when it hosts Stonehill to end the regular season November 11.
- The 2023 NEC Tournament will be played November 17-18. The championship will include the top four teams in the regular season standings and be hosted at the site of the highest seed.
