Swimming & Diving in 2nd Place at NEC Championship After Friday's Events
The Central Connecticut women's swimming and diving team stands in second place after Friday's events at the Northeast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, NY.
Sophomores Katie Czulewicz and Simona Visinski took second and third place, respectively, in the 200 yard freestyle.
Sophomore Jeannette King took second place in the 100 yard backstroke.
In the team standings, Bryant (540 pts) continues to lead, CCSU (396 pts) is second, and Wagner (344.5 pts) is third.

KEY PERFORMANCES
- 400 IM – Alex Lindgren placed 4th with a time of 4:25.02
- 100 Fly – Katelyn Mann placed 7th with a time of 56.90
- 100 Breast – Gracie Regan (1:04.31) and Mariana Espino (1:04:40) placed 5th and 6th.
- 400 Medley Relay – King, Regan, Mann, Czulewicz placed fourth with a time of 3:50.63

Saturday's prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. and include the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 400 Free Relay, and the 3M Dive. Finals begin at 6pm.
