Swimming and Diving Named CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Team
The Blue Devils had a team 3.46 GPA in the fall.
The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for its academic performance in the fall semester and was named a Scholar All-America team it was announced Wednesday. A total of 762 men's and women's programs, representing 480 institutions, were named to the list. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2019 grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes.
The Blue Devils posted a 3.46 GPA as a team in the Fall 2019 semester.

Over sixty percent of the selections (470 teams) belong to women's programs. The top teams in the classroom were also some of the best in the water. Ninety percent of the Division I and III's top Twenty Five are represented while eighty percent of Division II schools posted a 3.0 or higher.
Central is in action this weekend, swimming at LIU on Saturday, Feb. 1. The Blue Devils host Senior Day on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 1:00 p.m.
